In 2020 St Margaret's is getting greener.
See below for the three initiatives - recycle, refill, Fairtrade - which will be the basis for more ideas and projects as more of the community gets involved.
Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, the recycling bay is closed for now.
However, please save up your recycling until such a time as we can recommence.
"God saw all that he had made and it was very good." Genesis chapter 1
At the recycling station inside the church we have collection boxes for your empty crisp packets, batteries, pens, phones and ink cartridges.
The church is open every day from 9-4, just come in the door and the recycling station is immediately on your right.

This scheme means you can reuse your bottles and dispensers instead of throwing them away into landfill, and refill with EcoLeaf household products. Laundry detergent, hand soap, multi-surface cleaner are just some of the products available.
To order your products call Stephanie on 07796 801471 or Jacky on 07724 532842
St Margaret's is fully registered as a Fairtrade Church. At events we serve Fairtrade tea, coffee, biscuits, wine etc.
In the run up to Easter we are selling Fairtrade chocolate Easter Eggs for £4, at the 8am and 10am services.
