Chichester Choirs Festival

Members of St Margaret's Choir went to Chichester Cathedral to join with 250 others from choirs across the Diocese, singing together a special service for the day. Afterwards tired choristers were treated to pizza.

About our choir

St Margaret’s has a thriving and ambitious choir helping to lead the music at regular Parish Communion and Evensong services. As well as providing a firm lead in the singing of hymns and psalms, we often perform more ambitious anthems. We present an extremely popular Carol Service each year at Christmas, as well as other special services throughout the year.

We are lucky to have many young people in our choir, who enjoy singing and learning about music. All choir members, young and not so young, are encouraged to continue their musical education, and many of them partake in the Royal School of Church Music's 'Voice for Life' programme of awards and courses.

We are always happy to welcome new members into the choir. You do not have to be an experienced singer, just be willing to learn! If you are interested in joining, contact Jo Browse on 01403 242100.
