St Margaret’s Church Choir

About our choir

St Margaret’s has a traditional robed choir helping to lead the music at twice-monthly Parish Communion  services. As well as providing a firm lead in the singing of hymns and psalms, we often perform more ambitious anthems. We present an extremely popular Carol Service each year at Christmas, as well as other special services throughout the year.

We are lucky to have people of all ages in our choir, who enjoy singing and learning about music. All choir members, young and not so young, are encouraged to continue their musical education, and many of them partake in the Royal School of Church Music's 'Voice for Life' programme of awards and courses.

We are always happy to welcome new members into the choir. You don't have to be an experienced singer, just be willing to learn! If you are interested in joining, contact Mark Browse on 07552584722 or the email address in the sidebar.
