A special service to be held at Warnham Park

On Sunday 2nd August at 10am, the service will be at Warnham Park.

Jonathan and Caroline Lucas are celebrating their Ruby Wedding Anniversary and have invited us to mark the occasion with a special communion service, followed by drinks and canapés.

'Lammas' is an ancient festival of the land, held as the Harvest begins. In 1944 the BBC broadcast a 'Lammastide' service from St Margaret's, Warnham in response to calls from the Women's Land Army and Young Farmers' organisations. Our service on the 2nd August uses some of the liturgy composed for that event - fitting for the Lucas family given their historic (and present day) links to the land.
